Itinerary Overview
Day 1 - Barcelona

Welcome to Spain. Upon arrival your private transfer will take you to your accommodation in city center of Barcelona- famous for its sunny blue skies, stylish Mediterranean vibe, and quirky architecture.

Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting around 6 pm on Day 1. Please look for a note in the hotel lobby or ask the hotel reception where it will take place and confirm at what time. If you’re going to be late, please inform the hotel reception. We’ll be collecting your insurance and passport details as well as next of kin contact number at this meeting, so please ensure you have all these details to provide to your leader. If you arrive early, use free time to get your bearings of Barcelona. There are plenty of galleries, cafes and historic corners to keep you busy.

Day 2 - Barcelona

Start your day by visiting the labyrinthine streets of the old Gothic on a guided walking tour, followed by visit of famous Sagrada Familia. Gaudi’s bizarre La Sagrada Familia Basilica is possibly the most iconic landmark, along with the Camp Nou.

Rest of a day its free for you to explore this vibrant city as you wish. Stroll along the shopping mecca Portal de l’Àngel located in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella (Old Town), which is not only one of the most expensive streets in Spain, but also the country’s busiest walkway, with an average of 150,000 people walking down it daily. Hunt for the best tapas bars and embrace the atmosphere of La Rambla, while relaxing at one of the bars, sipping on rich Spanish wines.

Day 3 - Barcelona

Free morning to visit all the bucket list sites at your own pace, before we reunite after lunch to visit Park Guell. Public park filled with gardens and unique architectural feature, the park was designed by famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, who is Catalonia’s greatest representation of modernism. Park Güell was commissioned by wealthy entrepreneur Eusebi Güell, who gives the park its name. Later in the evening embark on a delicious tapas tour, where you learn just why Spaniards are crazy about tapas. Three hours of power eating – Spanish-style. Indulge in traditional Catalan tapas cuisine from the famous pa amb tomaquet (bread with tomato) to highly elaborated appetizers accompanied by a glass of wine or a local aperitif, experience the wine and cava (sparkling wine) culture of Catalonia and mingle with the locals in their neighbourhood.

Day 4 - Barcelona to Costa Brava

This morning travel to the former playground of artists – the Costa Brava’s beauty lies not just in its breathtaking coastline, but in the charm of its many towns and hidden gems. Visit Cadaqués arguably one of the Costa Brava’s best spots. This town is famed for drawing the likes of Picasso and Dalí in its day, becoming a renowned meeting place for the western avant-garde painters and artists enamoured with the town’s stunning landscape and architecture. Rest of a day will be free for some beach time, before returning to Barcelona for the night.

Day 5 - Ibiza

Relaxing morning before your private transfer takes you to airport to catch a flight to vibrant Ibiza. Upon arrival its your free time to get your bearings and perhaps head for a night out that this island is famous for. Your leader will give you suggestions how to spend your time in the area.

Day 6 - Ibiza

Free morning before we reunite for a boat trip to Formentera. Discover the island of S’Espalmador and Formentera in a unique boat trip from Ibiza. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the beaches of Formentera, taste the authentic Ibizan paella, have a drink at the open bar, snorkel on the beach of Illetas and discover the island of Formentera freely.

Day 7 - Mallorca

Catch an afternoon flight (not included) to Mallorca, where upon arrival you will be first introduced to Mallorca traditional food. Start with some Aperitivo’s and an introduction to Mallorcan cuisine (which is different from Spanish and even Ibizan cooking!), then be split into subgroups to prepare the courses, for example:

  • Entrée: Coca de Trampo – a vegetable pizza
  • Main: Tombet – layers of vegetable goodness, starring the humble aubergine; or Frit Mallorqui – like a paella, but with a mallorcan twist, with lamb, seafood, or just veggies
  • Dessert: learn to make Mallorcan ice cream or a dish involving the famous Ensaimada (twisted pastry)

While some groups are cooking, other groups can hang out and have some wine to cheers on epic Spanish adventure.

Day 8 - Mallorca

Free morning before we reunite to embark for a boat cruise with plenty of drinks, good music, great people and top vibes around you. Continue your night visiting local clubs and bars, for as long you wish for- tomorrow its free day, so dance your night away.

Day 9 - Mallorca

Day at leisure.

Day 10 - Depart Barcelona

Today we take a flight (not included) back to Barcelona, where upon arrival to airport we finish the Spanish adventure.
