Take in the highlights of Hanoi including visits to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi. You will also visit The Temple of Literature and the Ho Chi Minh complex while staying fueled throughout the day with a special lunch at a local market.

Today is one of the highlights of the trip, including a visit to The World Heritage Site Ha Long Bay! You will board an overnight cruise and have the opportunity to swim in the famous Vietnam East Sea.

Take a flight to Da Nang and check-in to your beautiful hotel in Hoi An. You will have some time to relax before venturing out on an orientation walk of the original European trading port in Vietnam dating back to the mid-16th century. It is also a marvelous place to wander around and enjoy the thriving riverside market and great silk clothes shopping.

Depart the hotel for the 40km journey outside Hoi An. Arrive at My Son Sanctuary, a great sample of ancient Champa civilization situated in the southern region of Vietnam. Stand astounded by a great number of exquisite stone sculptures, temples and towers nestled in a tropical jungle. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

Travel to Saigon and get settled into your hotel. Head out on a city tour exploring some of the various markets in Ho Chi Minh and end the evening at a rooftop bar to enjoy sunset vistas overlooking this bustling city.

After breakfast, transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network of tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and later expanded by the Viet Cong. As you explore this extraordinary labyrinth you will learn more about its history and the 1968 Tet Offensive. In the late afternoon, you will head out for a foodie experience, seated on the back seat of a vintage Vespa through the local areas of Ho Chi Minh.
