Trip Overview

MTreks – one of Michigan Ross’ storied traditions – are MBA2-led adventure trips (occurring right after orientation) that promote fun, friendship, and the Ross culture. Trek groups – consisting of about 8 MBA2s and 10 incoming MBA1s – travel together to destinations around the country and globe.

Whether you enjoy exploring a new city or spending time on the beach in an exotic location, there’s a trek for you. You can visit a new country, explore a different culture, or try something out of your comfort zone. Some treks are action packed adventures while others have more of a tropical, laid back feel.

Registration Information

  • Please note, the $500 MBA2 deposit is non-refundable after May 1st, 2022.

  • You are required to fill out the following trek ranking survey. Your trek selection will be communicated by May 8th, 2022. Each person is being asked to rank four treks they are interested in joining. Please note that the MTrek Board will not slate anyone on a trek that they did not rank. Likewise, please note you are only guaranteed one of your rankings once your deposit is paid.

  • We highly recommend MBA2 participants to purchase travel insurance to protect against any unforeseen circumstances. You can purchase the AIG Student Protection plan policy here, or purchase other forms of travel insurance online.

  • A $50 late fee will be assessed for any MBA2 who registers after the May 1st deadline.

  • You will be asked to complete a full Traveler Information Form when you pay the remaining balance of your Trek. More details will be shared at a later date.
