Trip Overview

The UF MBA GIE is designed to give students an overview of foreign business practices and the global constraints within which businesses must operate. By visiting various businesses and organizations, as well as participating in academic lectures and completing a consulting project for a local business, students will gain a more practical understanding of international business problems and practices from individuals who work within the local business and government environment.

  • When registering, please create an account so you can log back in to change any information, if needed.

  • Please select quantity “1” for the trip package during registration. All other extras are optional depending on your travel plans.

  • If you would like to include any pre or post nights at the hotel, please select the total number of nights you would like to include during the check-out process. There will be a follow up question in the registration form that will ask you the dates you would like the extra room nights.

  • Please note, pre/post nights and single supplements are based on availability. If you purchased an add-on and there is no availability at that time, you will be notified immediately and refunded in full for any additional add-ons that were not available.

  • Please note, any bookings (deposit, trip package, pre/post nights, single supplements, etc) are fully non-refundable after July 16, 2023.

  • Given any the deposit and any add-ons are non-refundable after July 16, 2023, we strongly advise students to purchase travel insurance. You can purchase travel insurance using the link here, or find your carrier of choice in an open marketplace.
