Itinerary Overview
Day 1 - Prague

Welcome to Prague. You will be transferred to your accommodation upon arrival. Take the time to relax and settle in before the important meeting with your tour leader. The leader will collect the passport and insurance details and also brief you about an upcoming adventure. After the meeting head out for an optional dinner and start experiencing the lively atmosphere of night-time Prague.

Day 2 - Prague

In the morning meet the local guide, who will show you around the city of the thousand’s spires. Walk down the King’s Way, admire the main square with the Astronomical Clock at the townhall tower. Have a look at famous Charles Bridge and learn few intriguing legends along the way. After the walk enjoy the free afternoon, perhaps explore the other side of the river, walk up the caste hill or just chill with the beer at one of the many street side bars. Gather again in the evening to explore Prague with all your senses. Experience the treasures of classic Czech cooking alongside bites with a modern twist as you explore the magnificent medieval landmarks of our beautiful capital. Czechs are hedonists who appreciate a hearty meal washed down with that world-famous Czech beer, and your local guide will show you how to do this in style, as the locals do!

Day 3 - Prague

Today is free to explore Prague. The city offers many possibilities, so perhaps take a walk around the Jewish Quarter and pay respects at the Gothic looking Old Jewish Cemetery. This is Europe’s oldest surviving Jewish cemetery, with 12,000 tombstones and 100,000 graves. Visiting The Museum of Communism can shade some light on this part of dark history shared by most of central European countries which somehow isn’t yet well known to the broader audience. Visiting town hall Clock Tower is a great way to finish off a busy day, before heading out for a dinner, and perhaps discovering another great side of Prague: the longest-standing and respected jazz scenes in Europe. If you should find yourself out until the early hours in an atmospheric jazz club, have a wander along Charles Bridge or Old Town Square as the sun rises for magical photo opportunities.

Day 4 - Tatras

Another long travel day – head south through the Tatra Mountains that form a natural border between Poland and Slovakia. Have your cameras handy to catch the stunning panorama. Upon arrival, settle into the hotel. The leader will show you around the tiny town and the rest of the afternoon is to do as you wish. Your hotel offers a variety of massages, treatments and saunas access you might be interested with. Pamper yourself to prepare for tomorrow hike or explore the town on your own.

Day 5 - Tatras

Today’s hike depends on the weather and the leader will be able to advice the best option. You can travel on the electric train along the Tatras range and access the suitable path. Enjoy few hours in the nature, admire the picturesque waterfalls, glacier lakes and fresh pine forest. You will come back to town in the afternoon to enjoy the leisure evening.

Day 6 - Eger

Travel by private transfer to Eger. Make sure to bring along enough snacks to get your through the lunch time as you will arrive in the afternoon. Upon arrival settle into your hotel and head out for a wine tasting in famous Valley of the Beautiful Woman. The valley is famous for over 200 wine cellars carved into the soft rock called tufa. Thanks to the special conditions the wine keeps its unique flavour. One of the most known and a must try is Egri Bikaver, translated into “Bull’s Blood”. Learn the legend of this name origins while enjoying a wide array of delicious wines.

Day 7 - Budapest

Enjoy free morning in this charming baroque town, before heading to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The evening is yours to enjoy as you wish, perhaps let your leader show you around to get the bearings of the city centre and enjoy the traditional goulash during an optional dinner.

Day 8 - Budapest

Join the local guide for a full day tour that whisks you around Budapest’s big cultural hitters with some hidden gems and delicious local bites thrown in for good measure. Enjoy the best views of the iconic Parliament building, explore Buda Castle, savour a delicious lunch with us and go off the beaten path to explore some of the city’s lesser known but equally impressive neighbourhoods.

Day 9 - Budapest

Enjoy the free day to explore at your own pace, before meeting the group again in the late afternoon for a beer tour. Sample some of Budapest’s best beer while discovering up-and-coming neighbourhoods and parts of the city that few tourists visit. Bond with other beer drinkers as you sip local brews in unique bars and breweries, sample local snacks, and see for yourself why Budapest is becoming such a great beer-drinking destination.

Day 10 - Depart Budapest

There are no activities planned for the final day and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time.
