Itinerary Overview
Day 1 - Zurich

Welcome to Switzerland, the land of the neutral that will inspire you with picture perfect landscape, hospitable people, rich food scene and unforgettable memories.

Make your way from airport to your accommodation, where you meet with your tour leader at 5 pm and take an evening walk around Zurich followed by dinner and a fondue tasting. Fondue is a Swiss dish of melted cheese served in a communal pot over a portable stove, eaten by dipping bread into the gooey goodness. Need we say more?

Later venture out to explore and experience vibrant Zurich nightlife scene, that attracts international crowd.

Day 2 - Interlaken

Catch a train ride to Interlaken – home to some of the highest mountains, deepest lakes, and greenest pastures on the continent.

Upon arrival, leave your luggage in hotel and head off with your local guide, who will take you around for a bike tour. Evening its free to hit the bars and have some fun meeting new people in town.

Day 3 - Interlaken

Day at leisure to explore area as you wish.

Perhaps catch a morning train to Grindelwald, wonder around this pretty village, breathe in the freshest air around and hike your way down to Lauterbrunnen. Here you can go for a walk around the village, shop for famous Swiss souvenirs or simply have a beer with stunning mountain views.

Day 4 - Interlaken

Free day to explore the area. Perhaps board a train to Jungfraujoch at 11,300ft, hike more of Grindelwald area or take part at any other outdoor adventure. Your tour leader will have plenty of suggestions how to fill your day with fun.

Day 5 - Lyon, France

A private transfer will take you across to France, where we will first learn about French love for wine. The Rhone valley is the second largest wine-growing region of France, where vineyards thrive on both sides of the river. Stop at the local winery to discover the different works needed to make a wine: grape varieties, viticulture, oenology.

Then continue to Lyon. The city is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lyon was historically known as an important area for the production and weaving of silk and in modern times has developed a reputation as the capital of gastronomy in France. It has a significant role in the history of cinema due to Auguste and Louis Lumière who invented the cinematographer in Lyon.

Day 6 - Aix-en-Provence, France

An urban city noted for its elegance and high-culture, Aix has been settled by some of France’s preeminent minds and artists. Most notable of all is Paul Cézanne who immortalized the limestone peak of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, which rises to the east of the city. Join your leader for orientation walk, the rest of an afternoon is free to explore the area as you wish.

Perhaps see the baroque and rococo 17th and 18th-century “hôtels” in the Quartier Mazarin, and stroll along Cours Mirabeau, the boulevard where Camus and Hemingway would have come for lunch when they lived in the city. Wondering through the streets and squares of the old town is one of the great pleasures in life. But it’s not just historic and picturesque – Aix in the 21st century is also affluent and chic, a little piece of the Paris left bank transported to the South.

Day 7 - Eze - Nice

Travel by private transfer south to Eze, where we stop for wonder around town and perfumery visit.

If Disney comes to mind while you are in Eze, this is not by chance. The famous cartoon maker enjoyed coming here and creating sketches for his future fairy-tale castles. While here visit perfume, soap and cosmetics factory equipped with the most modern laboratories and workshops. Discover the trade secrets of perfumes and cosmetics in a guided visit.

Finish your day in Nice, the capital of the Cote D’Azur, and where travellers from across the globe travel to one of the most charming, historic and beautiful cities in France. From the thriving Promenade des Anglais that hugs 7km of the gorgeous coastline in the South of France to the historic old town with squares lined with al fresco style dining; Nice really is the ideal holiday destination.
