Bschool Travel partners with the world’s leading universities to design and develop highly-customized academic immersion programs both domestically and abroad. In our role, we mostly work with MBA and Executive MBA programs to curate 1-2 week study trips focused on company visits, business interactions, and cultural activities. As a young company (founded in 2018) we are looking for new team members who are interested in being part of our core team as we scale into new universities and markets. Candidates should not only have a passion for educational travel, but also for entrepreneurship and a fast paced growth environment.


As the Business Development Lead at Bschool Travel, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities with leading universities across the U.S and abroad. You will be responsible for identifying new university clients that offer educational travel programs and will qualify these leads through research and discovery conversations with the study trip leaders, faculty, and/or program directors.


  • Identify potential partnership opportunities, marketing segments, and stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of US partner universities, including the needs, pain points, and priorities of the students, staff, and faculty regarding education abroad.
  • Strategically engage the community to increase awareness of our brand and inspire interest. Make introductory calls, identify opportunities to expand your network, and creatively approach each client, rather than using a “1 size fits all” approach.
  • Manage client pipelines, schedule and lead meetings, create and conduct presentations, and participate in campus activities. 
  • Influence and drive change within organizations. 
  • Form university partnerships, join professional organizations, and complete targeted marketing to drive new business and strengthen relationships with existing client base. 
  • Research and analyze our competitors’ services and industry trends, leveraging what differentiates us, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Identify and solve client issues with a sense of urgency. Maintain composure, utilize creative thinking, and demonstrate a commitment to exceeding our client’s expectations.
  • Play lead role in articulating bids, proposals, agreements, as necessary to solidify and define partnerships between US universities and Bschool Travel.
  • Execute the appropriate research and data entry to develop a lead generation list and maintain an accurate database of lead history. 


  • Experience in B2B business development and lead generation with a proven ability to generate new business
  • You are self-motivated, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have the ability to build instant rapport. 
  • Your prior experience includes at least 1 of the following:  Managing client expectations, client retention, analyzing client needs, university purchasing, sales support, marketing, or outside sales.
  • You thrive in a goal-oriented environment that requires strategic planning, networking, and identification of key decision makers.
  • You are proficient at building instant rapport, bypassing gatekeepers, and utilizing Google Workplace, Zoom, and MS Office.
  • Possess knowledge of University purchasing processes and MBA buyer personas.
  • Previous experience related to higher education or the Ed-Tech sector is a plus.
