Role Description

Bschool Travel is seeking an enthusiastic academic specialist to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality experiential learning programs for university partners for short-term, faculty-led programs. In this role, the Curricular Development Specialist will work closely with our team to assist in sourcing company visits and other experiential engagements such as consulting projects, program communications, coordinating event logistics, and managing company partnerships and projects for various initiatives, ensuring the seamless execution of our study tours.

Requirements

The selected candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of relevant professional-level experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in managing multiple tasks/projects, working with external parties, and satisfying multiple high-level constituencies. Excellent planning, networking, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop and launch new educational initiatives, ability to work effectively with faculty, students, administrators, corporate and community leaders, and knowledge of standard office software are also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new prospects through video calls, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email
  • Develop an effective rapport with partners to gain a better understanding of their global education abroad programs and needs
  • Utilize and maintain HubSpot CRM database system
  • Demonstrate continued success in managing a program pipeline from initial contact to closure
  • Communicate confidently both internally across teams and externally with partners
  • Work cross functionally to ensure all program needs are met
  • When necessary telephone contact will occur outside of normal working hours
  • Produce itinerary and specific educational plans for each group within the appropriate time frame
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service by responding promptly to customer’s inquiries, displaying proper phone and email etiquette, and being courteous

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years’ experience in an inside sales role preferred
  • Self-starter and openness to learning
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and strong time management
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • A highly self-driven sense of motivation and perseverance
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Strong phone and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Competency in platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google and Hubspot
  • BA/BS degree required
