ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Global Hotel Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with hotels and accommodation providers to ensure the best possible experiences for our educational tour participants. This role focuses on negotiating contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that all accommodations align with the company’s high standards for quality, safety, and budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hotel Partner Management:

• • Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with hotels globally to support educational tours in various destinations.

• • Negotiate contracts, including rates, terms, and cancellation policies, to achieve optimal value and flexibility for the company.

Logistics Coordination:

• • Work closely with the Account Management team to match hotel offerings with group requirements, including room configurations, event spaces, and special needs.

• • Coordinate rooming lists, check-in processes, and other logistics for smooth group arrivals and stays.

Quality Assurance:

• • Ensure all accommodations meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer experience.

• • Conduct regular evaluations and gather feedback from clients and tour leaders to improve service.

Strategic Planning:

• • Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of hotel partners in key destinations worldwide.

Supplier Relations and Compliance:

• • Act as the primary point of contact for hotel partners, addressing concerns and building long-term relationships.

• • Ensure all agreements align with company policies and industry regulations.

Reporting and Analysis:

• • Monitor and report on accommodation costs, savings, and overall performance of hotel partnerships.

• • Use data insights to optimize hotel selection and improve operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.

• • 3+ years of experience in hotel contracting, travel coordination, or a related role.

• • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• • Familiarity with international travel logistics and cultural considerations.

• • Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).

• • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• • Experience working with educational or group tours.

• • Knowledge of global hotel markets and trends.

• • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
