STATUS: W2, Full-time employment 
LOCATION: Remote 

We are seeking a Educational Travel Program Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional group travel experiences. In this role, you will play a vital part in our team, managing all aspects of educational travel programs—from initial concept through execution and final reconciliation. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Management

  • Lead and support the planning and execution of multiple group educational travel programs.
  • Manage all aspects of group itineraries, including:
    • Creative concept development.
    • Budget control, management, and reconciliation.
    • Registration, transportation, and activity planning.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to established standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate and review supplier contracts to ensure accuracy and favorable terms.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for added value, cost savings, and efficiency improvements for our clients.
  • Provide creative problem-solving support and expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless program execution.

Administration & General Responsibilities

  • Communicate proactively with leadership to identify and resolve challenges that may impact productivity or program outcomes.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the team to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Handle ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in the travel industry, with a strong focus on group travel management and itinerary development.
  • Project Management: Advanced skills in budget control, management, and reconciliation.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: A creative, resourceful mindset with the ability to act decisively in ambiguous situations.
  • Organization: Highly organized with outstanding time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
