Itinerary Overview
Day 1 - San Jose

Hola! Welcome to Costa Rica! Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm on Day 1. After that a nice welcome dinner for the group at Patio Restaurant.

Day 2 - Arenal

Say goodbye to San Jose early this morning and head out into the Costa Rican wilderness. After breakfast travel out of the city, to travel to La Fortuna. Once you arrive you will jump in the adventure doing the Zip Linning tour and during the night relax at the Hot Springs with a nice dinner at Baldi Hot Springs.

La Fortuna is a town in the Northern Plains, home of the majestic Arenal Volcano and one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica for its natural and geological wealth. It has a wide variety for tourists. The thermal waters from Arenal Volcano are rich in minerals associated with welfare, it is one of the most visited sites in the country where you can relax and enjoy a unique natural setting in the middle of the rainforest. In addition, you can find the country’s largest artificial lake; Lake Arenal is located between beautiful forests and mountains.

Day 3 - Arenal

Departing at 07:30 am from your hotel to enjoy your Canyoning Tour Tour. After a fun, 25-minute ride in your Jungle Limo, you’ll arrive at the Lost Canyon Ops Center. Start off the rappelling-leg of your canyoning journey with the first waterfall referred to as the “Baby,” a small-sized 10-ft waterfall that allows you to ease your way into learning the ropes — literally! You’ll soon reach what we fondly call the “Big Boy,” the second largest waterfall. About half-way through your rappel, you’ll hear the call to “LET GO!” – a few moments later you’ll experience your first guided, adrenaline-pumping canyon free fall! Heart racing and eyes sparkling, you’ll continue your journey through the canyon as you build up to the largest Lost Canyon challenge: an exciting 200ft waterfall rappel. When you finish your tour, settle in for your best meal in Costa Rica at our famous WARRIOR BUFFET full of delicious, home-cooked food.

Day 3 - Monteverde

Get ready to Travel between Arenal and Monteverde with the Taxi Boat Taxi. This van boat van service is the fastest and a very scenic way to travel between the Arenal Volcano and the cloud forests of Monteverde. Plus, you get to have a fun and scenic boat ride on Lake Arenal and see gorgeous views of Volcano Arenal! Once in Monteverde enjoy the classic night tour to look at all the night wildlife.

Day 4 - Punta Leona

Today we are going to beach, after breakfast you are going to Punta Leona located in the Central Pacific in Puntarenas Province. A typical inner bay beach, Punta Leona has beautiful blue waters, making it very visually appealing.

Day 5 - Punta Leona

For this day, there are no activities included, make sure to enjoy or just relax at your hotel, take advantage and explore the area and its ocean views.

Day 6 - Manuel Antonio

Transfer to Manuel Antonio, departing at 07:00 am from your hotel for a ride of approx. 1.4 hours. On arrival at Manuel Antonio Beach you will enjoy at the sunset sails tour. Feel the fresh ocean breeze as you cruise along the vast bright blue ocean while admiring the surrounding greenery and beaches of this gorgeous area of Manuel Antonio. It is the perfect way to spend some quality time with friends and family and enjoy ocean activities like snorkeling and sunbathing. There is plenty of nature and wildlife to admire while on this tour. In fact, many people have spotted dolphins, colorful fish, flying fish, turtles and a variety of birds! You will also be treated to a delicious spread of refreshing tropical fruit and cool drinks! This will be a highlight of your Costa Rican vacation!

Day 7 - Manuel Antonio

This adventure starts with an early drive south of Quepos on our a/c minibus. It takes 1 ½ hours through African oil plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river put-in. On the way there we stop at Santo Domingo mountain village to set our lunch order. Soon after, we will arrive to Rio Blanco, where we’ll give a safety briefing before we start maneuvering rapids like “Hurricane Rita”, “Boca Diablo” and “Washing Machine”. We stop for a short hike and nice swim at a waterfall on the river shore. A kilometer down river is lunch: a “Casado” i.e. rice, beans, vegetables and your choice of fish, chicken or plain omelet, served next to the river on a very traditional way. Before the end we hit “Santo Domingo” rapid and then the river tames down until we meet with our mini bus. We will load the gear and is a 50 minutes’ drive back to Quepos before 3pm.

Day 8 - San Jose

Just after checking out you will have a private transfer to San Jose and farewell dinner at Sapore Restaurant.
